Mario's vision to stand in the gap of where food and health are today, and where they get to be tomorrow for the overall benefit of society is rooted in the desire to disrupt the world as its known and leave a long-lasting legacy in the food, health, and sports world. Mario has developed a unique set of skills that combine both world-wide recognized classic culinary training and up-to-date nutrition knowledge, by completing a four year B.S. degree in Culinary Nutrition at Johnson & Wales University (a Didactic Program in Dietetics) accredited by the US Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Since then, he has worked in the sports nutrition field with NCAA D1 sports teams like Cornell Wrestling, has a wide background with the functional application of nutrition and rehydration for weight-centric sports, and has worked at top Forbes recognized companies like EXOS as the sous chef, cooking for NFL, MLB, NHL, MMA, amateur, and Olympic athletes. Similarly, he possesses a wide range of restaurant experience, including fine dining experience within the Michelin Star world.
