Android Developer

Trifecta is an Organic Meal Delivery Service based in West Sacramento, California - moving to a brand new office in Downtown Sacramento next to DOCO center, in Spring 2019!

We are looking for a full time, on site Android Developer with 3+ years of programming for Android and experience with at least one modern language, Java or Kotlin.

This individual will be the only Android Developer so someone who can take initiative, problem solve, and work independently as well as with the entire development team is crucial to success.

We need someone who can hit the ground running with android development and does not require training except for learning the business and product.

Back End Web Developer - eCommerce

Trifecta is an organic meal delivery service based in West Sacramento, California - moving to a brand new office in downtown Sacramento next to DOCO center, in summer of 2019!

We provide a variety of fully cooked meal options for customers to choose from that match their ideal dietary and lifestyle goals from paleo, keto, vegan, and clean eating. We ship weekly, nationwide for free.

We are looking for a Backend Web Developer who will take a key role on our team. Our Backend Developer must have knowledge in all stages of software development.

You’ll be working alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our mobile app and trifectanutrition.com.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Design overall architecture of the web application.
  • Experience with Wordpress and WooCommerce plugins is huge a plus.
  • Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization.
  • Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.
  • Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
  • Highly experienced with back-end programming languages such as PHP or JavaScript etc
  • Proficient experience using advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Vue, AngularJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, Node, jQuery etc.
  • Development experience for both mobile and desktop.
  • Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools: Git, Github

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

We are seeking a full-time Graphic Designer with design skills to help elevate and support Trifecta’s brand marketing, digital and content strategy. The ideal candidate has a passion for editorial design, illustration, and digital content.  Candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment, manage time efficiently, and work on multiple projects simultaneously. 

Candidates should be able to design within an established brand identity system, while pushing the direction forward. 

Daily projects would include general image selection and proactive creative direction, infographics, illustrations, ad graphic creation for digital ads including static graphics and simple animations, marketing emails, Powerpoint presentations and pitch decks, website landing page graphic and design, printed material for events and press, and collaborating with other visual designers on larger web projects.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing team to articulate and execute designs
  • Work closely with Videographer/Photographer on design and branding
  • Create illustrations and infographics
  • Design web graphics, ads, and banners to highlight promotions, new products, etc.
  • Produce marketing collateral consistent with our brand image
  • Design targeted marketing emails
  • Design blog imagery and graphics
  • Create print displays, ads, and packaging
  • Design Facebook, Pinterest, and other social ads to help push the brand forward

 

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in a related role in-house or at an agency
  • Bachelor's Degree related to Graphic Design or other related accreditation to an Arts College or University preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.
  • Strong portfolio featuring examples of digital and print work
  • Keen attention to detail, especially for color matching and typesetting
  • Outgoing, professional, and eager to take on responsibility
  • Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Interest related to nutrition, health, fitness, sports
