With a personal mission to change the narrative of how we view food, farming, and health in the US, Chef Sky Hanka’s philosophy around health is deeply rooted in food as medicine. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Integrative Clinical Nutrition, and certification as a Nutrition Specialist and Functional Health Coach, and holds a degree from the Culinary Institute of America and a Didactic Program in Dietetics. In the kitchen, she offers a conscious, restorative, and functional approach to cooking; an approach she has cultivated during her years teaching culinary classes, working in farm-to-table restaurants, and managing her own health imbalances. When she isn’t nose deep in research articles and Graduate work, you’ll find her out foraging and hiking, soaking up energy from the sun!
