Sales Team Manager

Trifecta is the largest organic meal delivery service in the US based in Sacramento, California in a brand new penthouse office in the DOCO Center Downtown. We provide a variety of fully cooked meal options for customers to choose from that match their ideal dietary and lifestyle goals from paleo, keto, vegan, and clean eating. We ship weekly, nationwide for free.

The Sales Team Manager is the driving force ensuring that customers love our products. This includes activities in the entire lifecycle of the customer including acquisition, retention, reactivation, and support. Customer Success works directly with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to improve the customer lifecycle.


Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line leadership, guidance, and support for assigned team of account executives and team leads to achieve revenue and retention targets.
  • Contribute individually (75% time allocation) as a player/coach and achieve in the top 10% in customer retention as a percentage of target
  • Serve as an integral role in the recruitment and hiring of new account executives
  • Implement new hire and ongoing training to assigned sales team
  • Conduct bi-weekly 1:1 meetings with sales team leads and monthly meetings with account executives
  • Compile KPI & sales reports and present to executive team
  • Help determine the right mix of support activity (phone, email, live chat, social)
  • Create company-wide customer feedback loop, specifically with Product and Operations teams
  • Measure effectiveness of customer success by defining operational metrics, tracking systems, and reporting to the executive team, i.e. customer support response time, satisfaction score and overall customer retention (churn)
  • Help foster a culture of customer centricity by aligning with marketing, web development, and executive teams to drive initiatives centered on our customer’s success
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Requirements 

  • 3-5 years in managing a Customer Success, Retention and/or Sales teams,  ideally in SaaS or B2C offerings
  • Documentation of consistent quota achievement at all career levels
  • Experience managing, training, and/or coaching individuals
  • Strong empathy for customers and a passion for revenue growth, with a focus on retention
  • Solid understanding of technology (incl. cloud-based web applications)
  • Experience working with a sales platform (i.e. Salesforce.com)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Comfort with a rapidly evolving work environment; with experience in taking initiative
  • Experience:  Relevant: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Inside/Outside Sales: 3 years (Required)
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
  • Location: Sacramento, CA (Required)
