Manual QA Tester

Trifecta is the largest organic meal delivery service in the US based in Sacramento, California in a brand new penthouse office in the DOCO Center Downtown. We provide a variety of fully cooked meal options for customers to choose from that match their ideal dietary and lifestyle goals from paleo, keto, vegan, and clean eating. We ship weekly, nationwide for free.

We are looking for a Manual QA Tester to assess software quality through manual testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, inspect, debug, and test software 
    Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
  • Evaluate production code according to specifications
    Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams utilizing defect tracking software
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Requirements 

    • Have experience performing manual software testing
    • 5+ years of proven experience testing in the Software Development Life Cycle, including regression testing, exploratory testing, and user acceptance testing
    • Experience with black box and grey box testing
    • Experience with Agile frameworks and QA methodologies
    • Ability to troubleshoot errors and document accordingly
    • Passionate about making software perfect
    • Extremely well organized, thorough, and a keen attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Comfortable in a rapidly evolving work environment with experience taking initiative
    • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
    • Location: Sacramento, CA (Required)

      • Mobile application testing
      • Automation testing and implementation
      • eCommerce experience heavily desired
      • Experience working with Magento, WooCommerce, Wordpress and Hubspot a plus
      • Familiarity with subscription models and various payment gateway
