MEAL PLAN

What if I have food allergies?
Please list any food allergies or preferences (i.e. you don’t like shrimp) in the ‘Notes’ section on the Shipping Info page during checkout. Any allergies or preferences may result in duplicate meals to avoid those that contain the unwanted items.
CAN I CHOOSE WHAT I WANT TO EAT FOR THE WEEK?
Each week, we adjust our menu to utilize whatever fresh ingredients our farmers have on hand. We also do our best to work with in-season produce. This way, we can keep prices down and honor our commitment to serving you the healthiest possible food. Our chefs constantly rotate, change and add dishes to our menus. So don’t worry – you’ll have plenty of variety to choose from.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE MEAL PLANS?
All meal plans are Organic, unprocessed whole foods. Additionally they are all dairy free, gluten free, and soy free.

 

Paleo – meat, fish, vegetables, and fruit, and excluding grains and legumes.

Clean Eating – meat, fish, healthy complex carbs, and fruits and vegetables.

Vegetarian – beans, legumes, healthy complex carbs, and fruits and vegetables, and excluding meat and seafood.

Vegan –beans, legumes,, healthy complex carbs, and fruits and vegetables, and excluding meat, seafood, eggs or animal products of any kind.

WHAT AMOUNT IS RIGHT FOR ME?
1 meal Per Day – You cook a lot! You already have most of your meals planned out but you need a few to supplement your diet.

 

2 meals Per Day – You want to be responsible for a meal a day. You trust yourself to do a good amount of healthy cooking and also want some quick and easy meals throughout the week.

3 meals Per Day (Recommended) – You are busy and don’t want to cook any of your own meals. You want to eat right with no room for error on your part.

4 meals Per Day – You are an athlete or a bodybuilder! You spend over an hour exercising every day and you are looking to put on body mass.

DOES MY SUBSCRIPTION AUTO-RENEW?
Yes, we will send you weekly deliveries. There is no minimum commitment so you can skip a delivery or cancel your subscription at any time before the weekly cutoff. You’ll need to make any changes before the Friday, a week before your expected delivery date.
IS THERE A MINIMUM SUBSCRIPTION LENGTH?

CAN I DO EVERY OTHER WEEK DELIVERIES?
Absolutely! Your account will default to weekly deliveries so if you’d like every other week, every third week, once a month etc., just add in the ‘Notes’ section on the Shipping Info page during checkout what you’d prefer.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHICH MEALS ARE BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND DINNER?
The packaging of each individual meal is color coordinated so that you don’t have to spend time sorting through your meals every day.

WHEN WILL I SEE PERFORMANCE RESULTS?
Fitness needs fuel. The body will burn energy from this food more efficiently owing to the high-quality organic ingredients. If this is your entry into healthy eating, you will feel the boost right away.

BULK FOOD

HOW IS THE BULK FOOD COOKED AND SEASONED?
All bulk proteins come in 4oz portions in the container size you order. Everything is lightly seasoned, so you can add your own seasoning/sauces. All proteins and vegetables are baked while the carbs are steamed.
WHAT ARE THE CALORIES AND MACROS?
Every meal will have nutritional and calorie information so that you can supplement your diet accordingly. The fats in our food are the healthy, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats found naturally in the whole food ingredients. We rarely use added oil and when we do, we make sure it’s top quality and healthful. Please see the individual product pages for average meal sizes and macros.
DO YOU USE ANY PROCESSED FOOD/ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS, ETC?
No. We believe that processed foods are part of what has made America such an unhealthy country and have made it our mission to use fresh, wholesome ingredients.
WHAT IF I'M STILL HUNGRY?
This is rarely an issue. The first week you may have to adjust, and will undergo a type of natural “cleanse” as your digestive system acclimates to the program, but after that, you will feel more energized and notice you are completely full after every meal. Many find they cannot even finish the portions we give them.

 

All that said, if you do feel hungry, we suggest whole foods such as raw fruit and veggies or raw nuts and seeds.

HOW ARE THE MEALS PREPARED?
Every meal is made from scratch, just like you would prepare in your own home, only in much larger volume.
ARE YOUR MEALS ORGANIC?
Yes! We source the best quality meals available, and purchase as many ingredients as we can from local family-run suppliers with sustainable practices. Fresh and healthy is our number one priority so our fruits and vegetables are naturally grown and our meats are grass-fed and fish are wild-caught.
HOW LONG WILL MY FOOD STAY FRESH?
The food comes in vacuum sealed packaging and lasts 2 weeks in the fridge and over 6 months in the freezer. It has never been frozen when it arrives at your door so for the best taste, we recommend refrigeration rather than freezing.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU DELIVER AND WHAT DAY OF THE WEEK?
Once a week on Fridays. The cutoff to have your order in is the Friday a week prior to your expected delivery date.
WHAT SHOULD I DO WHEN I RECEIVE MY BOX?
Please make sure to put your food in your refrigerator as soon as possible! The food is made fresh, and while it is in a chilled box, immediate refrigeration will assure continued freshness.

WHAT IF I'M NOT HOME DURING DELIVERY?
If you aren’t home, FedEx will generally leave the package for you at your door.

 

Because of the way our food is packaged, it will remain cold and fresh for you until you get home later that evening.

WILL MY FOOD STAY FRESH DURING SHIPMENT?
Yes, your meals are carefully packaged to stay fresh for several hours after your delivery arrives. We recommend you put the contents in your refrigerator as soon as possible for the best results and to maintain the freshness of your meals throughout the week.
HOW MUCH WILL SHIPPING COST?
Free shipping to anywhere in the United States including Hawaii and Alaska is included with your subscription!
WILL THIS BE LESS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY THAN IF I WERE TO BUY THE INGREDIENTS AT A STORE?
No. No matter how you get your food, there’s always a supply chain. Traditionally, a packer buys ingredients from a farmer, processes it, packages it and sells it to a distributor. The distributor then sells it to a retail store where the end consumer buys it. With Trifecta, we buy direct from the farmer, prepare and package it, and then pass it in to end consumer. You’ll see we cut two steps out of the chain!

 

Furthermore, since the food comes right to your door, you don’t need to drive to a retail store. So, this model further cuts back on “food miles.”

As for packaging, it’s comparable to what you would get when ingredients are bought at a retail store, plus it’s recyclable. Our plan is to allow more people to be able to experience the power of consistently eating well, while treading as lightly on the environment as possible.

HOW DO I SKIP A WEEK OR MORE OF DELIVERY?
We understand you may need to skip a week if you are going on vacation or have other plans. All we ask is that you give us notice before Friday, your weekly delivery cutoff.
